A few things people often ask us.
Do you roast your own coffee?
Yes, every bean we pour is roasted in-house in small batches right here in Bristol, so the coffee in your cup is only ever a few days off the roaster. Ask us what's on the bar today.
Is the bakery separate from the coffee house?
They're a few minutes' walk apart in the neighbourhood: the bakery on Zetland Road for bread and pastries to take away, and the coffee house on Gloucester Road for a proper sit-down with a flat white.
Where are you, and what are your opening hours?
We're in the heart of Bristol on Gloucester Road, an easy walk from the centre. We're open every day from early, through to late afternoon. See the contact page for the exact hours of each counter.
Do you take table bookings?
Most of the room is kept for walk-ins, so you can just turn up. For bigger groups, call us on +44 117 214 0192 or message us on WhatsApp and we'll save you a table.
Can I order a cake or a box of pastries?
Of course, that's one of our favourite things to make. Let us know in good time, especially at weekends, and we'll have your cake or pastry box ready. Click and collect is available too.
Do you do takeaway, and can I buy beans?
Yes, everything is available to take away, and we sell our freshly roasted beans by the bag, whole or ground for your brewer. Ask us at the counter.
I have an allergy or a dietary need, can you help?
Tell us when you order and we'll do our best to help. We keep oat, soy and other milks on the bar, and there are vegan and gluten-friendly bakes most days, but for specific allergens please check with us directly.
Do you cater events, or supply offices and cafés?
We do. We can put together pastry boxes and coffee for events, and we supply beans and bakes to a handful of local cafés and offices. Drop us a message and we'll sort the details.
